Official URL: tronlink.org

The reference wallet for TRON. Built and maintained by the TronLink team, it is the only wallet with full native support for every TRON-specific feature: resource management (Energy and Bandwidth visualization), Stake 2.0, SR voting, Energy delegation, and direct DApp connection via the window.tronWeb injection.

Best for: Anyone using TRON DApps (JustLend, Sun DEX, GasFree), managing staking, or developing on TRON.

Platforms: Chrome, Brave, Edge browser extension + iOS and Android apps.

Official URL: ledger.com

A hardware wallet stores your private key in a certified secure chip that never connects to the internet. Even on a compromised computer, an attacker cannot access your funds without physical access to the Ledger device and your PIN.

TRON (TRX) is supported via the TRON app in Ledger Live. For DApp interactions, connect your Ledger to TronLink or use TRONSCAN’s Ledger integration.

Best for: Significant TRX or USDT holdings that don’t need frequent DApp interaction.

Supported devices: Ledger Nano S Plus, Nano X, Stax, Flex.

What Ledger cannot do natively: Direct browser DApp connection without a software wallet bridge.

Trust Wallet — Best mobile multi-chain wallet

Section titled “Trust Wallet — Best mobile multi-chain wallet”

Official URL: trustwallet.com

A widely-used wallet supporting 100+ blockchains. TRON support includes TRX and TRC-20 tokens (including USDT). Available as both a mobile app and browser extension. DApp access works via the built-in browser (mobile) or native injection (extension). Staking is available directly in the app.

Best for: Users who hold TRON alongside assets on other chains and want a single, trusted interface across mobile and desktop.

Official URL: safepal.com

SafePal offers a software wallet (browser extension + mobile) and an optional hardware device (the S1 air-gapped signer). TRON support includes the full DeFi ecosystem (Sun, JustLend). SafePal also supports BTTC (BitTorrent Chain), which is a TRON-adjacent Layer 2.

Best for: Users who want hardware security with a mobile-first workflow, or who use BTTC alongside TRON mainnet.

Bitget Wallet — High user-count multi-chain wallet

Section titled “Bitget Wallet — High user-count multi-chain wallet”

Official URL: web3.bitget.com

80 million+ users across 100+ chains. TRON support covers TRX, TRC-20 tokens, and DeFi DApps via its built-in browser. The wallet includes an Energy rental feature (“GetGas”) that allows users to rent TRON Energy directly from the app without a separate platform.

Best for: Users already in the Bitget ecosystem, or those who want built-in Energy rental.

Official URL: token.im

A mobile-only wallet with 35+ blockchain support and a full DApp browser. Includes TRON-specific Energy rental built in — imToken claims up to 50% savings on USDT transfer costs through this system. Supports the imKey hardware wallet for added security.

Best for: Power users who want Energy management and hardware wallet support in a mobile app.

Official URL: klever.io

Originally launched as “TronWallet” before rebranding to Klever, this wallet was built with TRON at its core. It includes a built-in Energy rental system (via NRG) and a full DApp browser. Available on mobile and as a browser extension. Now multi-chain.

Best for: TRON-native mobile users who want integrated Energy rental.

Official URL: tokenpocket.pro

A mobile and browser extension wallet with broad chain support and a DApp browser. TRON support is full-featured. Unique feature: can pay TRON network fees using USDT (abstracting the TRX fee requirement). Useful for users who hold USDT but prefer not to manage TRX for fees.

Best for: Multi-chain mobile users who want to avoid managing TRX specifically for fees.

OKX Wallet — Integrated with OKX exchange

Section titled “OKX Wallet — Integrated with OKX exchange”

Official URL: web3.okx.com

Both a browser extension and mobile app, tightly integrated with the OKX exchange ecosystem. TRON support includes TRX, TRC-20 tokens, and DApp access. Useful if you already use OKX as your primary exchange.

Best for: Active OKX exchange users who want seamless wallet-exchange integration.

If you’re just starting: Use TronLink.

If you have significant holdings: Use a Ledger hardware wallet paired with TronLink for DApp access.

If you want a cross-platform multi-chain experience: Trust Wallet or Bitget Wallet.

If you want Energy rental built in: imToken, Klever, or TokenPocket.

If you use OKX: OKX Wallet.

There’s no reason to use more than two wallets — a hardware wallet for storage and TronLink for DApp interaction covers everything most TRON users need.
